Wolves Make Three Roster Moves

Goaltender Joe Cannata has been reassigned from the ECHL’s Kalamazoo Wings to the Chicago Wolves. In addition, center Alex Mallet has been reassigned from Chicago to Kalamazoo and goaltender Mathieu Corbeil has been reassigned to the Central Hockey League’s Missouri Mavericks.

CANNATA appeared in two games with the K-Wings since joining the team on Feb. 22. He posted a 1-1-0 mark while stopping 70 of 75 shots. The 23-year-old netminder has posted a 3-4-0 record with a 3.29 goals-against average and .905 save percentage in seven ECHL games with Kalamazoo this season.

The Wakefield, Mass., native also has notched a 5-2-0 mark with a 2.21 goals-against average and .921 save percentage in eight games with the Wolves during his rookie campaign this season.

MALLET has skated in 18 games with the Wolves this season during his professional debut, accruing an assist and seven penalty minutes.

The 20-year-old forward also has amassed 13 assists and 22 points in 31 games with the K-Wings this season.

CORBEIL has notched a 7-8-0 record, 2.68 goals-against average, and .916 save percentage in 16 tilts with the Mavericks during his professional debut this season. He has not played in any games with the Wolves this year.
